Attention Dubuque City Council: On October 31, 2008, the City Development Board (CDB) received a proposal for voluntary annexation to the City of Dubuque, CDB Case File No. NC08-21. Upon initial review, the proposal appears to be complete and properly filed. The Board will consider the proposal submitted at its meeting on November 12, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the Iowa Department of Economic Development, 200 East Grand Avenue, 2nd Floor ICN, Des Moines, Iowa. At that meeting, the Board will review the proposal for annexation for compliance with the filing requirements of Iowa Code Chapter 368 and its administrative rules contained in Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 263 and may either accept the proposal as complete and properly filed and set a date for public hearing or deny the request. Please arrange to have a representative present at the City Development Board meeting to answer questions which the Board may have regarding your annexation request.
