Dear Mayor:
In conjunction with our platinum partnership with DuPont,
Cities United for Science Progress, I am pleased to announce that
your city was given a Best Practice Award for its lead safety
efforts. As you might have learned at our 76th Annual Meeting
this is the seventh year of the Cities United for Science
Progress partnership and it is stronger than ever. During this
time we have selected over 45 cities to receive a total of $4.5
million in grants for innovative lead safety, clean-up or
education projects.
I congratulate you and encourage your city to submit an
application next year when DuPont and USCM will award another
$375,000. I look forward to another year of great applications
from cities for one of the Conference's signature partnerships.

Sincerely,
~~ ~^p~
