7. Narrative Description:
This property is located in the Langworthy Historic District. Style/Year: 1915-20 (Assessor), broad two-
story gable front, paired upper front window sets, returned eaves, east side oriole.
Physical Description: Diamond lights in attic window mirror those in the two houses to the east. Hip
roof front porch (8x17). Core is 28x29 with 4x14 side bay. Concrete foundation.
Landscaping/Setting: Original split track concrete drive and curbs to east of house. Garage in
southeast corner, driveway to east.
8. Narrative Statement of Significance:
Original Owner/Builder: William D. and Margaret Riggs were the first listed residents 1916. They
moved here from 199 Fenelon Place (there 1915) (as 308 Langworthy).
Building History: William Riggs here 1918-21. The sewer tap is dated July 19, 1915.
