Style/Year: 1927 (Assessor), 1920s-30s, Colonial Revival two-story side gable frame plan with center hall plan and entry. Physical Description: symmetrical fenestration, pedimented gable over vestibule entrance, returned eaves, shed roof rear L wing offset to north, dark brick external chimney on north side wall splits lunette vent at attic level. Four bedrooms, lot measures 75x100. Rear wing offset to the north. Rectangular core 22x30, rear wing 10x20. Alterations: asbestos siding. Permits note re-roofings in1988, 1994-95, re-sided 1955, decks and garage 1987 ($3,930). Assessor, 1971, reports 14x20 frame garage and basement garage present. Landscaping/Setting: hillside, placed on high stone foundation, fronts west. 8. Narrative Statement of Significance: Original Owner/Builder: Carl and Mary K. Lindenburg Building History: likely built on stone foundation of a two-story frame carriage house shown on 1891 Sanborn Map. Chimney foundation added, north side. Duplex as of 1971. H. F. Reynolds owned the parcel when it was sewered (no date, c.1896). First directory listing is 1929 with Carl and Mary K. Lindenburg. He was a salesman. They also owned 1090 Grove Terrace at the time, same parcel. 9.
