7. Narrative Description:
This property is located in the Jackson Park Historic District. Style/Year:1883, Second Empire style
residence with true mansard roof.
Physical Description: two-story brick rectangular plan with raised stone foundation and water table,
unusual square U-shaped wrap-around stone lintels, stone sills, gabled dormers on east front, south
dormers include two with rounded pediment top, dormers have bracketed caps, three-sided bay on
south front, original west wing.
Alterations: south porch bricked in 1952, one south center upper window bricked in. Permits note re-
roofing in 1993-94, remodeling 1937, cut in door, 1937.
Landscaping/Setting: part of half block church complex, in southeast quadrant, fronts south.

Special Significance; St. Patrick Church Rectory
Building History: The 1889 birds eye view shows a three-story Second Empire house behind St.
Patricks, Sanborns clearly show this building present as of 1884.
