Rufus Rittenhouse builds block of eight houses on Summit Street...admirably located…good
neighborhood and delightful view…well built, having every convenience…(Times, August 24, 1857).
The 1873-74 directory identifies the following potential tenants:

Dorrance D. Myers (Lot 427) and John Derry (Lot 433) own when sewered.
