7. Narrative Description:
Architectural Style And Key Stylistic Elements:
Very unusual brick vernacular 1.5-story gable front cottage with slight bellcast eaves and returned
eaves, and gable roof brick centered side dormers which project above an unbroken eavesline.
Probably Classical Revival in influence, there is a very small rounded attic light and the lintels are
formed with angled soldier brick and engaged faux brick keystones. The plan is that of a side hall with
a left hand single entry and transom. The windows are quite narrow apart from the picture window in
the lower fa<;ade.
Physical Description:
33x23 core, rounded small attic lights, stone foundation and water table.
Alterations:
Painted white, window replacements in dormers, west side wall.
Outbuildings:
Shed, 1991, 10x22
Landscaping Notes:
Built on shelf on corner lot, fronts southwest.

Historical Notes:
The flat lintels argue for a building date of c.1900+. House likely re-numbered when 111 23rd finished.
Might appear on 1889 overview?
