The highest rate (Council Bluffs) is 72.48°k higher than Dubuque's rate, and the average is 44.99°k higher than Dubuque. Dubuque's adopted FY 2019 property tax is $10.5884 (decrease of-2.79°k from FY 2018). *Includes the transit tax levy adopted by the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority for comparability. 2 The updated property tax rates changed the property taxes per capita comparison for the eleven largest lowa Cities. The taxes per capita amounts changed; however, the ranking order did not change. The highest (West Des Moines) is 135.61 °k higher than Dubuque's taxes per capita, and the average is 60.42°k higher than Dubuque.
