Narrative Description: Originally this was a single-story side gable brick cottage plan. The original roofline marks are evident on the sidewalls in the photograph. The vertical addition occurred after World War I when the cottage was duplexed (there are two baths and two kitchens). There was a shed roof over the rear of the plan. The original footprint, 18.6x43 remains unaltered. There are 795 square feet of living space per floor level. There is a half basement beneath the plan. The Assessor dates the house to +-1875. There are no outbuildings. There is a small entry porch on the back of the plan. 8. Narrative Statement of Significance: This parcel is not mapped in 1891 but this house was present on the 1909 Sanborn Map (419 Eagle Point Road). It was then a single-story in height. The 1936 map update indicates the addition of a second floor. Charles Kupferschmidt, a laborer, lived here as of 1921. He worked for the CM&St. Paul Railroad. Kupferschmidt was at 419 Windsor as of 1918. 9.
