1. Call to Order
The Dubuque Transit Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Esser, Board Chair at 4:30 pm.
2. Review/approve the aaenda for the Thursday. November 14, 2019 Transit Advisory Board meetina
Motion by Daughters, second by Enderson to approve agenda The motion passed unanimously.
3. Review/approve the minutes from the Thursday. October 24, 2019 Transit Advisory Board meetina
Motion by Esser, second by Daughters to approve the minutes from the June Transit Advisory Board meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
4. Introduction and Oath of Office- Luanna Gerdemann
Gerdemann was welcomed by the board and took the oath of office.
5. General Public Comments & Service Requests
Stecklein reported that stop XXXX on Loras Boulevard was moved a half block and had the "Nightrider Only"
sign removed from it. The Orange Line stops there during evening service and the sign was causing confusion.
Harris-Davis reported about issues regarding MiniBus picking up customers at the Applewood III Senior
Apartments. Currently the MiniBus cannot pull up to the apartment doors with any safe way to back up or turn
around to exit back onto the street. At this time Harris-Davis recommended drivers stop at the apartment drive
entrance.

6. Election of Officers
Esser nominated Daughters for chair and Enderson for vice-chair. Both accepted the positions respectively.
7. Ridership Report
Ironside reported the ridership statistics for July through October 2019.
8. Board Comments
Esser asked for the status ofthe Jule's new heavy-duty buses that were ordered. Tyler explained that Gillig builds
all their buses to order and the Jule's buses will be ready in Apri12020. Tyler will be visiting Gillig at that time
to inspect the new buses.
Tyler reported that the deadline for bids to be submitted on the RFP for automatic fare collection and demand
response software was eatended to the end of November. Esser inquired ifthe new fare collection will still utilize
the same swipe cards the Jule currently uses. Tyler expressed that while they will still allow for card swipe
technology, we are looking towards other new technology to better suit our customer needs.
Tyler mentioned to the board that 16 riders used the "Ride to Vote" service on Election Day. Ride to Vote
allowed Jule customers to ride for free to and from their polling place on Election Day.
9. Next Meetina
The neat meeting will be held Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 4:30pm at the Intermodal Conference Room.
10. Adiournment
Motion by Daughters to adjourn, second by Enderson. The meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
