We regret to inform you that the Labor Day Parade and the Labor Day Picnic for year 2020 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and urgency for social distancing. We will plan to hold these events annually as we have done in the past and plan to resume planning again in 2021. We hold Labor Day in our hearts as that is the day we honor the sacrifices working families have made in order to fight for more OSHA protections, gain wage increases by fighting for a living wage, and fighting for time off so our members can spend time with their families. Again, the United Labor Participation Committee and the Dubuque Federation of Labor would like to thank you again for all the support you have shown us in the past years. We hope that you'll support our decision by cancelling our Labor Day festivities this year and we hope you'll be able to join us next year. In Solidarity, Tom Townsend, President Dubuque Federation of Labor ### « t. . . . 11% 2n«n »
