I Present: Mayor Buol; Council Members Cavanagh, Jones, I Resnick, Roussell, Sprank; City Manager Van Milligen, City i Attorney Brumwell Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special 'I; session of the City Council called for the purpose of !i discussing and determining the process for filling a vacancy ';i in the Office of First Ward City Council Member. ��� ACTION ITEMS ;a 1. Filling a Vacancy in the Office of First Ward City Council Member: City Council to discuss and determine the ; process for filing a vacancy in the Office of First Ward City ;'; Council Member as a result of Council Member Brett Shaw's ' � I resignation. Restated motion by Jones to receive and file the ' documents and adopt Resolution No. 205-20 Intent to Fill a ','i Vacancy in the Office of First Ward City Council Member by u Appointment. It was further moved that letters of interest to fill the vacancy will be accepted until noon on July 20, 2020 ; at the City Clerk's Office; candidate interviews will be ',� conducted at a special, virtual meeting on July 23, 2020 � starting at 6:00 p.m.; appointment will be made at a special, � virtual meeting (priar to the scheduled work session)on July � 27, 2020 starting at 6:00 p.m. The City Clerk will facilitate i administering the Oath of Office with the appointee.
