AIRPORT COMMISSION MINUTES Commissioner Phillips moved to approve the minutes of the June 23, 2020 meeting and Commissioner Clemenson seconded the motion. This motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS 01. REVIEW AIRPORT STATISTICS Monthly Airport statistics for fuel, enplanements, aircraft operations and finances for the month of June were reviewed. It was noted that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Airport aircraft operations, fuel sales and enplanements had decreased in March and April but have increased slightly in June, from the previous two months. The return of University of Dubuque flight operations in May helped with 100 LL fuel sales. American Airlines had one flight scheduled on five days a week during May and June. Enplanements are down about 70% from last year. NEW BUSINESS ACTION ITEMS 02. FLYDBQ CAMPAIGN TERMINAL BUILDING RESOLUTION An application was received from Dawnelle Gordon on June 16t" to name the Terminal Building after Robert L. Martin at the Dubuque Regional Airport. The sub- committee met on June 25t" and June 30t" to review and discuss the application and made a recommendation to the Airport Commission to approve naming the terminal the Robert L. Martin Terminal Building at the Dubuque Regional Airport. Commissioner Blocker made a motion to accept Resolution No. A1400-1-2020 For Endorsement of Naming the Robert L. Martin Terminal Building at the Dubuque Regional Airport. Commissioner Phillips seconded the motion. This motion passed unanimously. DISCUSSION ITEMS 03. AIRPORT PROJECTS UPDATE Airport Director Dalsing reported that two new corporate hangars are being constructed and should be finished by September. The Master Plan Update is ongoing. AIP grant#66, Airfield Lighting Update was received on July 20t" American Airlines recently sent out furlough notices to 2,500 pilots and 10,000 flight crews due to the Pandemic. TSA reported nationally a throughput of a decrease of 70.3% on July 20t" compared to 2019. Local numbers show a similar decrease. 04. CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED SINCE JUNE 23, 2020 MEETING None. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING The next scheduled Commission meeting tentative date is August 25, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Commissioner Blocker moved to adjourn the meeting and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Clemenson.
