Application for Annexation
TO: CITY OF DUBUQUE
Pursuant to Iowa Code Section 364.7, notice is hereby given to the City of Dubuque,
Iowa, that the City of Sageville, Iowa has received an Application for Annexation as described
below. Notice is further given that on the 7'1' day of February, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., at Eichman's in
Sageville, Iowa, a public hearing will be held on the proposed resolution by the City of Sageville
which would, if approved, authorize the City of Sageville, to voluntarily annex properties
currently owned by Kevin D. and Donna M. Schmitt, and legally described as:
That part of Lot 43 in Dayton Subdivision No. 3 not already within the City limits of
Sageville; and, Section 3, Township 89 North, Range 2 East of the 5`" P.M., according to
the recorded plats thereof, subject to highway and easements of record;
and,
Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and those parts of Lot 8, 9, and 10, in Dayton Subdivision No. 3, not
already within the City limits of Sageville; all in Section 3, Township 89 North, Range 2
East of the 5`h P.M., according to the recorded plats thereof, subject to highway and
easements of record;
and,
Lot 3 of Dayton Subdivision No. 3, in Section 3, Township 89 North, Range 2 East of the
5°i P.M., in Dubuque County, Iowa, according to the recorded plat thereof, subject to
easements of record; and one-half of the width of Rupp Hollow Road, adjacent to said
lots.
Following public hearing, if the Kevin D. and Donna M. Schmitt Properties, LLC shall be
annexed by the City of Sageville, Iowa. At said time and place of the public hearing all
interested parties will be given an opportunity to speak for or against the above proposal.

below. Notice is further given that on the 7` day of February, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., at Eichman's
in Sageville, Iowa, a public hearing will be held on the proposed resolution by the City of
Sageville which would, if approved, authorize the City of Sageville, to voluntarily annex
properties currently owned by Ehrlich Properties, LLC, and legally described as:
Lot 1 of Lot 2 of Lot 2 of Lot 2 of Northome Place, located in Section 11, Township 89
North, Range 2 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Dubuque County, Iowa;
and
Lot 1 of Lot 1 in Melody Mill Place in Section 11, Township 89 North, Range 2
East of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Dubuque Township, Dubuque County, Iowa,
except that portion conveyed to the State of Iowa in Warranty Deed date
December 27, 1999, recorded January 4, 2000, as Document No. 44-00, described
as follows: Beginning at the most westerly corner of said Lot 1; thence N 55' 26'
43" E, 16.25 feet on the northwesterly line of said Lot 1; thence S 28' 32' 34" W,
16.33 feet; thence S 33' 58' 19" E, 145,69 feet; thence S 55' 17' 24" W, 13.17
feet to a point on the present northeasterly right of way line of Primary Road No.
U.S. 52; thence N 34' 30' 59" W, 161.96 feet on said present northeasterly right
of way line, to the Point of Beginning. Note: The northwesterly line of said Lot 1
is assumed to bear N 55 26' 43" E for the purposes of this description.
Following public hearing, if the resolution is approved, the above referenced
properties owned by Ehrlich Properties, LLC shall be annexed by the City of Sageville, Iowa.
At said time and place of the public hearing all interested parties will be given an opportunity to
speak for or against the above proposal.
