DATE: July 1, 2022
Director of Human Resources Shelley Stickfort is recommending City Council ratify and
sign the collective bargaining agreements reached between the City of Dubuque and the
Teamsters Local Union No. 120 and Teamsters Local Union No. 120 (Bus Operators)
effective July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

RE: Ratification of the July 1, 2022, Teamsters Local Union No. 120 and Teamsters
Local Union No. 120 (Bus Operators) Collective Bargaining Agreements
The City's bargaining teams were able to negotiate voluntary agreements beginning July 1, 2022,
with the Teamsters negotiations teams. The terms of the final agreements were within the
negotiation parameters established by the City Council and City Manager.
The Teamsters respective memberships voted on and ratified the agreements on June 26, 2022.
I recommend that the City Council ratify and sign the collective bargaining agreements reached
between the City of Dubuque and the Teamsters Local Union No. 120 and Teamsters Local
Union No. 120 (Bus Operators) effective July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025.

DURATION AND NEGOTIATIONS
This Agreement shall be effective the first day of July, 2022 and shall remain in full force and
effect through the thirtieth (30th) day of June, 2025. Negotiations for a succeeding
Agreement to become effective on July 1, 2025, shall begin after August 15, 2024, but not
later than October 15, 2024.
