Whereas Avenues are not of sufficient wideth to accommodate the wants of the public
Whereas Duty of the Council to provide for the future
Whereas wide, commodious, and well-graded avenues of approach to the City are among the best means for encouraging the County trade to center at this point
Therefore be it Resolved That the City Council hereby orders a relocation of Southern Avenue and Madden Hollow Road within the City Limits
City Engineer to locate those thoroughfares upon the best ground practicable without regard to private interest of property holders
Resolved Mineral Street and Couler Avenue be widened
Resolved Open that portion of a county road to the City of Dubuque which is situated in L H Langworthy's Hollow
Resolved City Engineer, Street Commissioner, and Committee on Streets carry into effect
