RE: Smart Parking Mobility Management Plan Update

Introduction
City Council approved the request from Engineering and Transportation Services to
conduct the Smart Parking & Mobility Management Plan and Implementation Project.
The City of Dubuque, Iowa has solicited competitive sealed proposals from professional
consulting firms to manage a Smart Parking & Mobility Management Plan and
Implementation Project. Walker Consultants was awarded the project.
Discussion
The Smart Parking & Mobility Management Plan and Implementation Project is in the
Mapping and Evaluation stage. I am requesting the approval to present updates to the
City Council as needed during this project. These updates will include the status of the
study and the next steps moving forward.
Budget Impact
There is no budget impact for this update.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that a Smart Parking & Mobility Management Plan update be given
at the June 5th City Council meeting.
