1997 June Council Proceedings Regular Session, June 2, 1997 DUBUQUE CITY COUNCIL OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS City Council, Special Session, June 2, 1997 Council met at 5:30 p.m., Board Room, Second Floor, Carnegie Stout Public Library Present: Mayor Duggan, Council Members Buol, Krieg, Michalski, Nicholson, Robbins, Voetberg, City Manager Michael Van Milligen. Approved , 1997 Mayor Duggan read the call and stated this is a Special Session of the City Council called Adopted , 1997 for the purpose to go into Closed Session to evaluate the professional competency of the City Manager. Mayor Council Member Michalski moved to go into Closed Session — In accordance with Chapter 21.5 1.(I) 1997 Code of Iowa as amended, To evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose performance is being considered (City Manager) and that individual has requested a closed session. Seconded by Council Member Voetberg. Motion carried 7-0. Council reconvened Regular Session at 6:29 p.m. with statement that Staff had been given direction. Mayor Duggan read the call and stated this is the Regular Session of the City Council called for the purpose to act upon such business which may properly come before the Council.
