Mayor Brady read the call and stated this
is a Special Session of the City Council
called for the purpose to consider a Reso-
lution granting a Class "C" Liquor License
To Budde's Sports Bar & Grill.
RESOLUTION NO. 24741
Whereas, applications for Liquor Licenses
have beet submitted to this Council for
approval and the sate have bean examined
and approved; and
Whereas, the promises to be occupied by
such applicants were inspected and found to
comply with the State law and all Qty
Ordinances relevant thereto and they have
flied proper bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
That the Manager be authorized to cause
to be issued the following named applicants

PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (cp2)
Whereas, under the provisions of Title I
of the Housing and Community Develop-
ment Act of 1974, as un~nded, the City of
Dubuque has received Community Develop-
ment Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the
development and maintenance of a viable
urban community through the provision of
decent housing, a suitable living environment
and expanded econon~c oppo~unifles for its
residents, particuiafly those persons of low
and moderate income; and
Where~s, the Community Partnership Pro-
gram (cp2) was developed in response to thc
national goals and objectives of the CDBG
program and is designed to encourage, on a
local level, new and innovative private and
non-profit efforts to improve the livability of
the community for all citizens; and
Whereas, the City of Dubuque, Iowa, is
permitted to expend a maximum of fifteen
pereent (15%) of its CDBG entitlement funds
on activities such as those earm~ked by the
Community Partnership Pro.em (cp2); and
Whereas, gu(del(nas for the it~lementa-
lion and ndmluist~ation of the Community
