The City Council requested an October update after receiving the final COVID-19 update on April 17, 2023. BACKGROUND In previous COVID-19 reports, topics included Emergency Management Agency (EMA) activities, hospital capacity planning, public information, vaccination, testing, treatment and policy issues. Most of these topics are now part of other regular occurring public health and health care meetings and planning. However, public health activities still include vaccinations and vaccine education, monitoring COVID-19 sentinel and local health care provider reports and working on the Improvement Plan from the COVID-19 pandemic after action report.
