Present: Commissioners Dan White, Scott Crabill
Also present: Fire Chief Amy Scheller, Asst. Fire Chief Josh Knepper, Strategic Workforce Equity
Coordinator Kecia Dougherty, Fire Marshal Kevin Esser
Commissioner White called the meeting to order at 4:17 p.m.
1. Approval of minutes from the October 11, 2023 meeting. Motion by Crabill to approve the minutes
as submitted. Seconded by White. Motion carried 2-0.
2. Police and Fire Department Reports. Fire Chief Scheller provided information on new hires,
recently acquired vehicles (new fire engine), current work on Fiscal Year 2025 budget.
3. Certify the list for the positions of Police Corporal, Police Lieutenant and Police Captain. Item #3
was removed from the agenda.
4. Establish the passing score for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic/EMT. Motion by White to set
the passing score at 70% and above and certify the list for the position of
Firefighter/Paramedic/EMT. Seconded by Crabill. Motion carried 2-0.
5. Adjournment. Motion by Crabill to adjourn at 4:21 p.m. Seconded by White. Motion carried
2-0.
