Duggan and Members of the City Council October 28, 2003 Claim Against the City of Dubuque by Agnes Vorwald Claimant Date of Claim Date of Loss Nature of Claim Agnes Vorwald 10124/03 10/16~03 Vehicle Damage This is a claim in which the claimant alleges that while her vehicle was parked across from Stonehill Care Center, a Project Concern bus backed into claimant's vehicle, damaging the front bumper.. According to the report of Mark Munson, Transit Manager, the driver operating the City- owned minibus backed into claimant's vehicle, damaging the finish on the bumper. Mr. Munson states that the damage he witnessed sustained by claimant's vehicle is consistent with the damage reported on the submitted estimate for repair. It is therefore the recommendation of Mark Munson to approve this claim for the amount of the estimate of $338.92. The Legal Department concurs with this recommendation. Theproject Concern driver operating our City owned minibus backed into her car and damaged the finish on her bumper. The damage I saw on her' bumper the day of the accident is consistent with the damage reported on the estimate for repair. In lieu of this, I recommend payment of the claim for damage in the amount of $338.92.
