Vehicle Damage
This is a claim in which the claimant alleges that while her vehicle was parked across
from Stonehill Care Center, a Project Concern bus backed into claimant's vehicle,
damaging the front bumper..
According to the report of Mark Munson, Transit Manager, the driver operating the City-
owned minibus backed into claimant's vehicle, damaging the finish on the bumper. Mr.
Munson states that the damage he witnessed sustained by claimant's vehicle is consistent
with the damage reported on the submitted estimate for repair.
It is therefore the recommendation of Mark Munson to approve this claim for the amount of
the estimate of $338.92. The Legal Department concurs with this recommendation.

Agnes Vorwald Claim for damage
October 27, 2003
I have reviewed the claim against the City of Dubuque involving Agnes Vorwald
and I have personally investigated the accident involving our minibus and her
vehicle. Theproject Concern driver operating our City owned minibus backed
into her car and damaged the finish on her bumper. The damage I saw on her'
bumper the day of the accident is consistent with the damage reported on the
estimate for repair. In lieu of this, I recommend payment of the claim for damage
in the amount of $338.92.
