City Council Meeting ITEM TITLE: Static Display of Engine 505 & Medic 554 SUMMARY: The Dubuque Fire Department recently took delivery of a new fire engine (Engine 505) and ambulance (Medic 554) and will have a static display of the new Engine 505 and Medic 554 prior to the council meeting on February 5, 2024, from 5:30 pm until 6:00 pm outside the Historic Federal Building. This will allow members of the community, city, and council to tour the new vehicles and ask questions. DISCUSSION: The Dubuque Fire Department is appreciative of the work from our finance department, vehicle services, and to the department members who were an important part of the specification and coordination of building and placing these new resources in service. RECOMMENDATION: The department will have a static display of the new Engine 505 and Medic 554 at the council meeting on February 5, 2024, from 5:30 pm until 6:00 pm outside the Historic Federal Building. This will allow members of the community, city, and council to tour the new vehicles and ask questions.
