Staff Present: Jill CONNORS (Economic Development Director); Mike WILLIAMS (Intern)

HALDER called the meeting to order following staff assurance of Iowa Open Meeting
compliance at 3:33 PM.
Roll Call & Review of Minutes
Roll call was skipped due to only Commissioners and City staff present at the time of roll call.
RIEDEL moved to approve minutes from October 24, 2023 with corrections provided by
HALDER, seconded by DONALD. Vote: Unanimously affirmed. Motion carries.
Status Reports from Staff
WILLIAMS reports for Bonnie and Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs;
The steering committee for the Creative's Cafe have met and planning to meet again to
prepare for a late January Creative's Cafe event.
The marketing campaign AIITogether Dubuque has met with local marketing firm Gigantic to
verify how the remaining budget will be used. Gigantic shooting for a mid -January 2024
completion date in order to publicly launch AIITogether at the January 2024 Creative's Cafe
Event.
Dubuque's Snow Sculpting Festival will be held February 9-11, 2024. Slideroom for
applications and press release will go out December 8t"
Updates From Master Plan Working Groups
No updates to report from Master Plan working groups.
Old Business — Other
No updates to report on.
New Business — Commission Strateaic Plan Goals
Discussion took place regarding the strategic priorities and objectives created by the Arts &
Culture Advisory Commission, for the Commission.
Group to verify which commissioners were responsible for which priorities, and to re -prioritize
the existing priorities.
HALDER reaching out to commissioner NEUHAUS to verify date for December Arts & Culture
Commission Meeting.
