Dakota Schilling, 1234b Swiss Valley Rd., introduced himself as thc applicant and Sheri Kubly, 679 Bluff 5t., introduced herselF as the propertys realtor and summarized the inspections that have occura•ed on the property. Responding to a question from the City Couneil, Mr. Werniniont stated that a conditional use permit for an accesso�y dwelling is the more expensive option for� achieving the applicants goals, hence why the applicant requested the rezoning instead. Mation carried 7-0. Motian by Jones for fina! �onsideration and passage of Ordinance No. 8-24 Amending Title 16 of the City of Du6uque Code of Ordinances, Unified Devetopment Code, by reclassifying hereinafter described property from R-1 Single-Family Resident;al to R-2 Two-Family Residential. Mayor Cavanagh also repor•ted on two upcoming festivals in Dubuque: the Growing Sustainable Communities Conference and the 7ulien Dubuque Internatianal Film Festival.
