The purpose of this memorandum is to request a City Council work session for the Four
Mounds Foundation on August 5, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. to present an annual overview of
their work.
BACKGROUND
The City has a long standing partnership with Four Mounds. The City entered into a
lease of Four Mounds Park to the Four Mounds Foundation in 1988. Over the years
Four Mounds Foundation has improved the grounds of Four Mounds Park and the
facilities located there. Additionally, they have been providing a variety of programming
to our community and been a very active partner of the City.
DISCUSSION
This work session will allow Four Mounds Foundation to share information on their past,
current, and future work, and initiatives many of which relate to the City Council's equity
goals as well as equitable community of choice.
ACTION REQUESTED
I respectfully request a City Council work session Four Mounds Foundation to be
scheduled on August 5, 2024 at 6.00 p.m.
