Present: Mayor Cavanagh; Council Members Farbei-, Jones, Resnick, Roussell, Sprank, Wethal; City Mana�er Va�i Milligen, City Attorney Brumwell. I�4ayor Cavanagh read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called for the purpose of setting a public hearing for a development agreement with Kinseth Hospitality Company, Inc. ITEMS SET FOR PUBLIC HEARING Motion by Jones to receive and file the documents, adopt the reseli�ti.on, and set the p�!blic hearing as indicated. Se�onded by Farber. Motion carried 7-0. 1. Setting Public Hearing for a Proposed Development Agreement between the City of Dubuque, Iowa and Kinseth Hospitality Company, Inc.: Upon motion the documents were received and tiled and Resolution No. 252-24 (1) Approving the minimum requirements, competitive criteria, and offering procedures for the development and the sale of certain real property and improvements in the Gi•eater powntown Urban Renewal Disti-ict; (2) determining that the offer to purchase submitted by Kinseth Hospitality Company, Inc. satisfies the offering requirements with respect to the real property and improvements and declaring the intent ot'the City Council to approve the sale to Kinseth Hospitality Company, Inc.in the event that no competing proposals are submitted; and (3) soliciting competing proposals was adopted setting a public hearin� for a meeting to commence at 6:30 p.m. on September 16, 2024 in the Historic Federal Building. .
