Roll CaII & Review of Minutes Roll call was skipped due to familiarity with commissioners and City staff present. No approval of July 2024 minutes due to no quorum. Status Reports from Staff SPURLING reports for Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs: Art on the River was a great success this year, very well received opening night and reveal of new public sculptures. Official brochures will be printed this week in three languages; English, Spanish and Marshallese. SPURLING shares upcoming Grants calendar and advises grant final reports due end of the month. Page 105 of 674 SPURLING advises of an open position on the Resilient Community Advisory Commission. SPURLING reads letter of thanks from Bell Tower Theatre for their receipt of recent grants. SPURLING provides update on Creative Cafe, nothing currently planned but hoping to get committee together in the coming weeks to plan. SPURLING advises she will be submitting improvement package this year and has been tasked with re -igniting the Arts & Culture Masterplan working groups and would like the commissions help to define what "culture" means.
