violence programs, courts, corrections, treatment, and justice information sharing
initiatives.

units of government with grant funds for local initiatives, technical assistance, training,
personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, and information systems for
criminal justice for any one or more of the following purpose areas:
• Law Enforcement Programs
• Prosecution and Court Programs
• Prevention and Education Programs
• Corrections and Community Corrections Programs
• Drug Treatment and Enforcement Programs
• Planning, Evaluation, and Technology Improvement Programs
• Crime Victim and Witness Programs (other than compensation)

County.
To accept the award and associated funds, we are instructed to complete the following:

Certificate and Assurance by the Chief Executive
Upon completion of these (included with this memo), the items can be returned to the
police department for submission.
RECOMMENDATION:
I am requesting the City Council to approve the application for the FY24 Justice
