City Engineer Gus Psihoyos is recommending City Council adopt the attached
resolution accepting the dedication of Outlot E from Switch Homes of Dubuque, LLC for
future street right of way purposes in The Farm subdivision.
Due to a scrivener's error, the dedication of said Outlot E was not accepted by the City
of Dubuque in City Council Resolution No. 132-24. In order to correct said scrivener's
error, the City of Dubuque wishes to now accept the dedication of Outlot E from Switch
Homes of Dubuque, LLC for future street right of way purposes.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this memorandum is to seek acceptance of the dedication of Outlot E
from Switch Homes of Dubuque, LLC to the City of Dubuque for future street right of
way purposes in The Farm subdivision.
BACKGROUND
In May of 2024 the City Council approved the Final Plat of The Farm subdivision located
between Tiffany Court and the Northwest Arterial. The plat was recorded as Instrument
Number 2024-00004916 in the Dubuque County Recorder's Office. The final plat
included the dedication of Outlot E by Switch Homes of Dubuque, LLC to the City of
Dubuque for future street right of way purposes. This future roadway will someday
serve the property adjacent to the south.
DISCUSSION
Due to a scrivener's error, the dedication of said Outlot E was not accepted by the City
of Dubuque in City Council Resolution No. 132-24. In order to correct said scrivener's
error, the City of Dubuque wishes to now accept the dedication of Outlot E from Switch
Homes of Dubuque, LLC for future street right of way purposes.
RECOMMENDATION
I would, therefore, recommend that the City Council accept the dedication of Outlot E
from Switch Homes of Dubuque, LLC for future street right of way purposes.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
I respectfully request adoption of the attached resolution accepting the dedication of
Outlot E from Switch Homes of Dubuque, LLC for future street right of way purposes.
