AIRPORT COMMISSION MINUTES Commissioner Clemenson moved to approve the minutes of the September 24, 2024, meeting, and Commissioner Blocker seconded the motion. This motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS 01. REVIEW AIRPORT STATISTICS Director Dalsing mentioned that aviation fuel sales were down slightly from the previous year, but aircraft operations increased. NEW BUSINESS ACTION ITEMS 02. ICAIF CONSTRUCT HANGAR 105 CLOSEOUT RESOLUTION Commissioner Blocker made a motion to accept Resolution No. A1400-1-2024 Accepting the Airport Construct Hangar 105 Construction Project and Submit Closeout Documentation to the Iowa Department of Transportation. Commissioner Brotherton seconded the motion. This motion passed unanimously. The Dubuque Regional Airport received funding from the State of Iowa to construct an aircraft hangar. This project was awarded to general contractor Tricon Construction Group. Construction is now completed, and the hangar is being occupied by the University of Dubuque. Page 45 of 721 03. ENGINEERING DESIGN AGREEMENT TAXIWAY A CONSTRUCTION PHASE 4 RESOLUTION Commissioner Kurtz Weber made a motion to accept Resolution No. A1500-1-2024 Authorizing an Agreement for Engineering Services for Relocate Taxiway A — Phase 4 Construction Project Design and Bidding Phase Services. Commissioner Clemenson seconded the motion. This motion passed unanimously. This will continue the design and bidding process for phase 4 of the Taxiway A multi -year construction project with Foth Infrastructure, the Airport engineer on retainer. DISCUSSION 04. AIRPORT PROJECTS UPDATE Terminal exit lane design is currently underway. The GA Apron construction project is on schedule with a late November completion date. TSA held another precheck event over the past two weeks. The first daily flight on Denver Air was completed on November 4th. Commissioner Kurtz Weber noted that for this to be successful, "We need people to fly out of Dubuque and be ambassadors for DBQ." 05. CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED SINCE SEPTEMBER 24, 2024, COMMISSION MEETING The Airport Part 139 annual inspection will be November 191n - 20tn. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING The next scheduled Commission meeting tentative date is December 17, 2024. Commissioner Blocker moved to adjourn the meeting, and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Clemenson. This motion passed unanimously.
