Alanda Gregory, Vice President; Andy Bland, Secretary; and Trustees, Greg Gorton, Diann Guns, Christy Monk, and Pam Mullin • The Board approved library expenditures. • The Board accepted and approved Library Director Nick Rossman's annual review. • The Board and Library Staff celebrated and thanked outgoing Trustee Greg Gorton on eight years of service to the library Board of Trustees. • The Board celebrated a beautiful Art @ your Library opening reception on June 6. • The library interacted with more than 300 individuals at the Dubuque Pride Festival this year promoting library services and the Summer Reading Programs for all ages. • Library staff promoted the Maker Space at the Dubuque Dog Expo, offering pins or magnets using pictures of visiting dogs. • The library added a large -format 36-inch-wide printer to the Maker Space. This printer has the capability to print professional quality signage, posters, banners, photographs and more for $1.00/square foot. • The Summer Reading Program for youth is off to a great start. Over 500 students were registered on the first day and more than 1,300 students signed up in total. • More than 160 submissions for this year's Tiny Art program. Tiny art pieces are on display on the 1st floor of the library through July, and will be celebrated in conjuncture with the Friday, August 1 st Art @ your Library reception from 5:30- 7:30 pm. • The Board continued to review plans and discuss plans for future library renovations.
