LET'S GO,', From youth sports, recreational classes, and art programs to adult athletics, chair yoga, and dance classes, City of Dubuque Parks and Recreation offers something for everyone to learn, play, and stay active! October Chair Yoga Tues., Oct. 7 - 28, 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Fri., Oct. 3 - 31, 9 - 9:45 a.m. FREE! join Pam Connolly, certified group fitness instructor, as she leads you to a safe alternative to strengthen your mind and body. Chair yoga will increase flexibility, enhance muscles, and improve balance and core strength without leaving your seat! This is a free program. Class is located at the Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Ave. Art in the Park Ages: 6 - 12 yrs. $18 Sat., Oct. 4 9:30 - 11 a.m. Drawing, painting, and clay! Learn many techniques and styles while creating with clay, making special projects, and painting on canvas at the Allison -Henderson Park Building. School Day Off Camp Ages: 3 - 7 yrs. $30 Fri., Oct. 10 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. School's out, but the SCHOOL fun is in session! This ®AY camp keeps kids busy with arts and crafts, OFF! exciting games, and plenty of playtime with friends —all in a safe, welcoming environment. A perfect way to make their day off extra special! Early Achievers Ages: 4 - 6 yrs. $18 ` Wed., Oct. 15 & 22 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Watch your child grow in confidence as they explore new skills in this well-rounded program. With a mix of creative projects, team challenges, and a touch of academics, kids will learn, play, and problem -solve their way to discovering their full potential. Fast Kidz Running Class Ages: 9 yrs. & older (Adults welcome!) Sun., Oct. 26 & Nov. 2, 9, 16, & 23 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. $45 This running class is geared toward training for the annual Turkey Trot Run on Thanksgiving morning. it is a great opportunity for families to train together!
