Library Board of Trustees Update
From the Meeting November 20, 2025
Present: A. Alanda Gregory, President; Diann Guns, Secretary; and Trustees, Jessica
Connery, Victor Lieberman, Christy Monk, and Pam Mullin
The Board approved library expenditures for both September and October.
The library's Quilts of Valor program was featured on KCRG twice. Once
promoting the ceremony and one featuring the Breezy Hill Quilters. Both

Library Board of Trustees, staff, and stakeholders are all thrilled for library
service to be considered one of the top 10 projects in the Community Foundation
of Greater Dubuque's Envision 2030 project.
o Several stakeholders attended the "Make it Real" event and met with
interested community members to continue momentum. The next public
meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 13 at 5:30 pm at
the Carnegie -Stout Public Library
Carnegie -Stout staff helped plan and staffed a booth at the 2nd annual Dubuque
History Expo at Loras College on October 12. Kristin Anderson -Bricker and Ray
Werner were keynote speakers.
Library staff are working with FEH Design on renovation plans for Board
Approval, with hopes for the plans to go out to bid in February.
Using funds provided to the Carnegie -Stout Public Library Foundation from a
DRA Grant, the library has begun circulating the Bright Beginnings Book Boxes
to area preschools.
