PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING

Jorgenson, and Jess Ochoa, and Lori 011endick
ABSENT: Jason Henkel
STAFF PRESENT: Dan Kroger, Steve Fehsal, Matt Kalcevich, and Angie
Metcalf
CALL TO ORDER: Jess called meeting to order at 4:32 p.m.
MINUTES APPROVED VOTE:
It was moved by Kennicker, second by Axtell, to approve the minutes of
the October 21, 2025, meeting. Unanimous.
PUBLIC INPUT:
None
REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF 2025 TREE CITY USA APPLICATION
Kennicker made a motion to approve the 2025 Tree City USA Application,
011endick seconded, Unanimous.
WESTBROOK PARK SIGNAGE RECOMMENDATION
Park Division Manager, Steve Fehsal, received numerus complaints of ebikes
and escooters being driven throughout the Westbrook Park. Kennicker made a
motion to approve park signage for Westbrook Park advising no motorized
scooters or bikes are allowed in the park, Axtell seconded, Unanimous.
PARKS AND RECREATION COMPREHENSIVE MASTER PLAN UPDATE
Parks and Recreation Director, Matt Kalcevich, provided an update and an
outline of the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan.
DIVISION MANAGER REPORTS
Division Manager Reports were provided.
COMMISSION COMMUNICATION / QUESTIONS:
Axtell commended the team for the Eagle Point Park video.
