The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.

Corey Valaskey motioned to approve the agenda. Michael Shimkus seconded. Motion passed
4-0.
Approval of Minutes of September 11, 2025
Nathan Wardle motioned to approve the minutes of September 11, 2025. Corey Valaskey
seconded. Motion passed 4-0.
Action Items
1. Review Proposed Construction Permit Valuation Model and Mechanical,
Electrical, and Plumbing Fee Changes
Mike Belmont shared an updated proposal for the permit valuations. Corey
Valaskey motioned to adopt the changes as presented. Nathan Wardle
seconded. Motion passed 4-0.
2. Review proposed 2024 IMC Code adoptions and amendments
Mike Belmont shared the proposed 2024 IMC Code adoptions and amendments.
Corey Valaskey motioned to adopt the proposed 2024 IMC Code adoptions and
amendments. Michael Shimkus seconded. Motion passed 4-0.
3. Review proposed 2024 UPC Code adoptions and amendments
Mike Belmont shared the proposed 2024 UPC Code adoptions and amendments.
Michael Shimkus motioned to adopted the proposed 2024 UPC Code adoptions
and amendments. Corey Valaskey seconded. Motion passed 4-0.

The Board was updated on the status of the lowa's Sunshine Law training. There has been
additional training added in November. If inembers were not able to get into the training, they

were to let Tami know so that she could reach out to the City Clerk's Office to get an update on
the next training.

Michael Shimkus motioned to adjourn the meeting. Corey Valaskey seconded. Motion passed
4-0. The meeting was adjourned at 4:59 pm.
