o Matt Kalcevich from Parks and Recreation gave the commission a presentation on the new
Parks and Recreation Masterplan

• Data Centers—next steps

o The Commission had a discussion about the next steps and decided that they want to wait to ;I
see what the State Legislature decides regarding Data Centers before making a I
recommendation.

o Zoe Heiar (Green lowa Americorps) presented maps of the leased property
o Commission will do research and come up with sustainability measures for an updated bid
rubric that assi ns a number value to otential sustainable farmin ractices. Commission will

Commissioner Reports: How Did I Show Up?
• Boeke—Purchased an electric car and has had some issues with availability of chargers/access to list of
charging locations in the City.

• The City received a check for over$400,000 because we successfully applied for the Federal IRA cash
bacl< rebates for the solar array at the airport.
