Parks and Recreation Director Matthew Kalcevich is recommending City Council
schedule a work session for October 5, 2026, at 6.00 p.m. The team from Four Mounds
will provide an update and overview about the work that is currently happening on the
property and provide information about the growth and development of the programs
that directly support the functions of the park.

The purpose of this memorandum is to request a City Council work session to provide
information about the operations and projects happening at Four Mounds.
BACKGROUND
The Parks and Recreation Department has the responsibility of maintaining the
agreement at Four Mounds.
DISCUSSION
The team at Four Mounds is seeking the opportunity to update the City Council about
the work that is currently happening on the property and provide information about the
growth and development of the programs that directly support the functions of the park.
ACTION REQUESTED
I respectfully request a City Council work session to provide an update and overview
about the operations and projects happening at Four Mounds on Monday, October 5, at
6:00 p.m.
