Present: Commissioners Miquel Jackson, Otto Krueger, Scott Crabill
Also present: EMS Bureau Chief Sam Janecke, Assistant City Manager Cori Burbach, City Clerk
Adrienne Breitfelder, Police Chief Jeremy Jensen, Chief Human Resource Officer Shelley
Stickfort, Talent Acquisition Manager Kristen Dietz
Commissioner Crabill called the meeting to order at 4:16 p.m.
1. Approval of minutes from February 17, 2026, meeting. Motion by Jackson to approve the
minutes as submitted. Seconded by Krueger. Motion carried 3-0.
2. Fire and Police Dept. Reports. EMS Bureau Chief Janecke reported on new hire numbers,
the new ladder truck located at Fire Station 4, and AED's that have been refurbished and are
being placed in city parks. Police Chief Jensen reported on new AED's and staffing numbers.
3. Requesting Civil Service Commission Approval for Police Chief Recruitment Process.
Motion by Jackson to approve the recruitment process for Police Chief. Seconded by Krueger.
Motion carried 3-0.
4. Adjournment. Motion by Jackson to adjourn at 4:26 p.m. Seconded by Krueger. Motion
carried 3-0.
