Van Milligen, City Manager West 32nd Street -Acceptance of Warranty Deeds Public Works Director Mike Koch is recommending that the City Council accept the Warranty Deeds and the Easement for Constructing and Maintaining Inlets and Outlets for properties already purchased by the Iowa Department of Transportation in connection with the West 32nd Street reconstruction project scheduled for 2001-2002. Koch, Public Works Director West 32nd Street - Acceptance of Warranty Deeds INTRODUCTION Enclosed are resolutions accepting Warranty Deeds for right-of-way purchases on West 32nd Street for the reconstruction project scheduled for 2001-2002. DISCUSSION These properties were acquired for reconstruction of West 32nd Street in conjunction with the extension of the Northwest Arterial from John F. Kennedy Road to Highway 386. All properties were negotiated and paid for by the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT). Enclosed are Warranty Deeds and the Easement for Construction and Maintaining Inlets and Outlets for parcels needed for the paving project, and to provide necessary grading for the installation of sidewalks. I would recommend adoption of the enclosed resolutions accepting the deeds and the easement.
