MEMBERS of the CITY COUNCIL OF DUBUQUE
Quarterly Report
In Accordance with Ordinance No. 50-92 (3) Sec. 2-231, City code, the City of Dubuque
Investment Oversight Commission (lOC) respectfully submits the 33rd quarterly report.
The lOC members met on July 26, 2001. The transactions reviewed through June 200I appear to
be in compliance with the Articles in the Investment Policy. Ken TeKippe and Dawn Lang
reviewed the distribution of funds in the various Certificates of Deposits ( CD ) and we discussed
the T-Bill market. Because the local banks have been more aggressive about tacking the City's
funds and interest rates on T-Bills have fallen so much the City had to shift the bulk of the funds
the Finance Department manages to CDs at local banks from T-Bills. It is possible that all of the
funds that used to be invested in T-Bills will be shifted to CDs in the next few months.
The IOC did not receive any commtmicafion or questions from the public.
Respectfully submitted
Patti Lassance
Chairman
Investment Oversight Commission
