Rosemont St parking pro - HempsTo Whom It May Concern,
This petition is in regards to the Hempstead Senior
High School students parking on Rosemont St. We are the
residence of this area and it has become difficult for us to
pull in and out of our own driveways with the Hempstead
students parking in front of our homes some times their
cars do not clear our driveways fully which leaves us with a
problem. This is also a bus route, which makes this street
seem very busy and narrow. During winter months snow
plows are unable to do their job thus making driving
treacherous. We also have quiet a lot of garbage lining our
street everyday. We feel that Hempstead Senior High
School has a large enough parking lot to solve this
situation. We often understand that Hempstead has many
unused parking places open in their parking lot during any
time of the day. Thank you for your time.
