Koch, Public Works Director ~/f~ Manson Road - Acceptance of Warranty Deed INTRODUCTION Enclosed is the resolution accepting the warranty deed for right-of-way purchase on Manson Road. DISCUSSION The existing right-of-way easement for Manson Road is 40 feet wide. The proposed reconstruction of the Manson Road Bridge created a realignment of the roadway that required additional right-of-way to be purchased. Previous deeds for this project were accepted at the September 17, 2001 Council meeting. One remaining parcel was recently acquired by eminent domain. Enclosed is the warranty deed for the parcel needed for the paving project, and to provide necessary grading for the installation of sidewalks. Included is the following warranty deed: Owner Legal Description Krapfl, Rodney J. and Mary Jane A part of Lot 2-1-1-1-1-1-2-1-4 Mineral Lot 501 in the City of Dubuque, Iowa RECOMMENDATION The City has already purchased the above property, and the Warranty Deed should be accepted by the City Council. I would recommend adoption of the enclosed resolution accepting the deed. ACTION TO BE TAKEN The City Council is requested to adopt the attached resolution accepting the warranty deed from Krapfls. Kmpfl and Mary Jane Krapfl, pursuant to which Rodney J.
