Italianate style, single-story brick gable front cottage, hip roof porch
Physical Description:
30x20 core, 6x20 porch, stone foundation, American bond brickwork, rowlock arches, brick porch piers,
single rounded attic light
Alterations:
Porch enclosed, windows replaced.

8. Narrative Statement of Significance:
The Yingling family name is associated with two adjacent parcels, this one (apparently?) and 389
Clarke. This cottage has an attribute date of 1881 which may or may not be accurate. Yingling
references to this property pre-date this date. The assumption is that 389 Clarke is of a later date and
that the Yingling family link is firm. It is possible that these earlier listings refer to that same lot. No
listing is found for 1890 for this number which is curious.

1909 Sanborn shows a 1.5-story simple rectangular plan with front cornice (as 327 Seminary).
1909/36 Sanborn shows the same. A garage set to the east appears on the 1964 map.
