Eric Schulz stated at the meeting the painting and scraping
is done. There is an inspection scheduled for Thursday,
September 20 for dust wipe samples.

THE FINDINGS OF THE BOARD WERE:
The owner, Dick Henkel, requested an extension of time (90)
days until December 1t, 2001 for interior and exterior
repairs. There are five apartments with outstandin9 interior
violations. Some of the violations are minor electrical,
water heater discharge tube, water meter needs to be
properly 9rounded, peeling paint in some of the rooms, some
handrails and guardrails need repair or replacement. Alot of
the peeling paint violations will be taken care of with the
replacement of 34 windows. Exterior repairs consist of
sidewalk repair, chimney tuck-pointing and deteriorated
wood.

The owner, Patricia Frease requested an extension of time

front awning roof leaks. The owner wants to replace the roof
before she replaces and paints the rotted/peeling wood. The
side steps and porch are treated wood and the stain is
rubbed off. She would like to strip this entirely and seal
it with Thompson Oil.
The Board decided to give the owner until October 31, 2001
to allow her more time to complete the work.

have been repaired, the soffit and fascia have been scraped
but need to be painted.
The Board decided to give the owner until October 31, 2001
to allow him more time to complete the repairs.

replaced, they are also lacking preservation. The rear
entrance exterior trim has peeling paint. It appears there
has been no attempt to start the work.

porch stairs have a temporary fix. They are a safety hazard.
The Board agreed to give the owner until October 31, 2001
for the peeling paint violations. The front porch stairs
need to be given immediate attention.

THE FINDINGS OF THE BOARD WERE:
The owner, Leslie Brotzman requested an extension of time
until September 25, 2001 to complete exterior repairs. He
has to replace missing rear porch, provide steps for the
rear door, the North attic windos are cracked or missing and
need to be repaired. It appears there has been no atte~pt to
start the work. This is a Section 8 Initial inspection; he
was automatically extended to June 15, 2001. Due to our
workload, he received ~nother six weeks before we were able
to reinspect.
Timothy Moler, Housing Inspector, reported Mr. Brotzman has
torn off the rear porch and has poured a cement pad. Steps
need to be provided for the rear door. The attic window was
torn out and needs to be covered.

Appeals meeting. It could not be determined if the missing
railings were a safety hazard.

THE FINDINGS OF THE BO~RD WERE:
The owner, Holly Hill LLC requested an extension of time
until August 26, 2002 for the removal of siding and repair
of the exterior brick surfaces. This was originally cited on
October 5, 2000. The owner cites heat, rain, and ill health
as reasons for the requested extension. Marcia Lawson stated
she just sold the property to Tony Fernandez this week. Tony
Fernandez stated he would be able to have the siding off and
brick repair by October 31, 2001. The Board decided to give
the owner two months, November 18, 2001 to co~lete the
repairs.

in the process of building an additon on Finley Hospital. He
doesn't want dust on his fresh paint.

and there are no current violations.

The owner, John Gronen requested an extension of time until
September 30, 2001 for exterior tuck-pointing and brick
repair. The owner cites that the wet spring set the
tuck-pointing business behind. Mr. Gronen would like to make
some additional improvements to the parapet wall. There are
no current safety considerations.
Mr. Gronen attended the meeting and reported where he is on
his project. There has been a delay with his tuck-pointer,
Dave Reno. He would like until October 31, 2001 to make his
repairs.
