Van Milligen, City Manager FROM: Gus Psihoyos, City Engineer SUBJECT: Bee Branch Platting DATE: April 30, 2012 INTRODUCTION Dubuque bierd All-America City 1 2007 This memorandum is a request for approval of the Plat of Survey for Lot 1 and 2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 9 in order to make available area along Elm Street for the Bee Branch Creek Restoration Project. DISCUSSION As part of the sustainable construction effort, the original four lots along Elm Street known as Lot 1 -4 -103, Lot 2 -4 -103, Lot 2 -1 -1 -3 -103, and Lot 1 -5 -103 all in L.H. Langworthy's Subdivision were purchased by the City to allow for the construction of the Bee Branch channel and adjacent alley. The attached Plat of Survey of Lots 1 and 2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 9 provides for the sale of the westerly area (Lot 1) with the house that has been rehabilitated by Housing & Community Development. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the Plat of Survey of Lots 1 and 2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 9 be approved and signed by the Mayor in order to make Lot 1 available for sale.
