Claim Against the City by Kevin Felderman
Date of Claim Date of Loss
8/14/01 7/26/01
Nature of Claim
Property Damage
This is a claim in which the claimant states that while walking through the Iowa Street
parking ramp, his pants and briefcase came into contact with wet paint.
According to the report of Cindy Steinhauser, Parking Systems Manager/Assistant City
Manager, the Parking Division maintenance record indicates that a painting project was
being done in the ramp and that "wet paint" signs were not posted to caution patrons.
Therefore, it is her recommendation that this claim be approved for payment. The Legal
Department concurs in this recommendation.

Introduction
This memorandum is in response to a claim filed by Mr. Felderman.

to the parking division maintenance record, painting was being done in this

patrons.
