FROM: Bob Green, Water Department Manager
SUBJECT: Water Plant Security
In evaluating the Water Plant Facility security, it was
determined that there is a major concern in having visibility
of the facility due to its size and especially at night.
Because of this I am recommending with your approval that we
proceed with the installation of a closed circuit monitoring
system.
The estimated cost for this system is $28,500.00 dollars.
project is not in the current budget.

I have been in discussion with Administrative Services Manager
Pauline Joyce in researching the funds for this project. Pauline
and I both agree that the monies needed for this project could
come from surplus funds in the FY '01 Operating Budget.
I am available at your earliest convenience to discuss this
request.
