Kevin,
Carter Newt and I met with Dave Heiar, Laura Carstens and Phil Wagner this morning regarding the South Port
Redevelopment. As part of that meeting, we were informed that University of Iowa Graduate Students will be
presenting a South Port Redevelopment proposal to the City Council during the Work Session tonight at 5 p.m.
While we understand the value these students have provided to the City of Dubuque through their survey data
and public input meetings, we would appreciate the opportunity to respond to the Graduate Student
presentation prior to any formal action being taken.
If it is not too late, I'd like to know if you can add the above sentence to the commentary in tonight's work
session. Also, we do not intend on responding during the Work Session this evening, but will be in attendance.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Marcus
