The two rear decks are deficient a total of three portions
of guardrail. The lower deck is deficient a handrail. Some
guardrails may be finished, but are not on because Mr
Specht is trying to finish siding the rear. These violations
were first cited June 12, 2000.

loose paint has been removed. The owner states that the work
would have been finished had the weather been conducive to
painting. The tenant in the unit is pregnant, but currently

windows and a door directly to the exterior from the
basement room. This room has been used as a bedroom prior to

code requirements except ceiling heightu The ceiling height
is 6'8". The existing ceiling can not be raised because of
the plumbing, heating and electrical above the ceiling. The
room would need a variance of 4".

BEDROOMS WHICH LACK 100% OF THE NATURAL VENTILATION
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITED AMOUNTS OF NATURAL LIGHT DUE TO
RENOVATION LAYOUTS WHICH WERE COMPLETED IN THE 1960'S. THESE
INTERIOR BEDROOMS ~_RE LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUILDING
AND DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO OUTSIDE WALLS. UNIT %8 WILL ADD AN
ADDITIONAL WINDOW FROM THE BEDROOM TO THE INTERIOR HALL,
MIRROWING WHAT HAS BEEN DONE IN THE OTHER UNITS. VARIANCE IS
GRANTED ON ALL TWELVE UNITS INTERIOR BEDROOMS WHICH ALL LACK
APPROXIMATELY 4.9 SQ. FT. OF NATURAL VENTILATION A~D
APPROXIMATELY 4 SQ. FT. OF NATURAL LIGHT. VARIANCE GRANTED
DUE TO PRACTICAL DIFFICULTIES ~ UNNECESSARY HARDSHIPS IN
CARRYING OLrf THE STRICT LETTER OF THE CODE. BILL KINSELLA
